Up for auction is a nice project 1972 Chevy Blazer. Most of it is there, and I have taken pictures of all the possible trouble spots so there is no misunderstanding about the condition of the vehicle. I will detail all known issues also. I have never had a an unhappy buyer, and I don't plan to start now. Please read all the description below. Condition: This is a fairly solid Blazer, the door rockers were replaced at some time, and the windshield frame has a some rust in the drivers side joint, but appears to be fixable and not rusted through. The only rust through is under the hood, which is pictured. There is no other major rust that I know of. I included pictures of any rust that I could find. I could not find any body filler in it. The original color was a light green, but someone has painted it white. Oregon is not a salt state, so that helped preserve this old classic. Features/Specs: Engine: 454 Chevy Big block with an Edelbrock carb and older intake, Hooker headers, , Accel HEI ignition, and unknown cam. The engine was in the Blazer when I bought it. I does need to be tuned/ dialed in. Also there is a vibration in the Engine/ trans area, but I don't have the time to find them. Mileage is not correct, I am sure that the instrument panel has been replaced. Transmission: Turbo 350, shifts solid, but leaks Transfer Case: NP-205 Front differential/axle: Dana 44 with 4:56 gears and what appears to be some form of locker. Hubs are older Warn Premiums, front disk brakes Rear differential/axle Chevy 12 Bolt, 4:56 gears, and what looks to be an Eaton posi unit. Tires: BF Goodrich All Terrain's size LT 315/70R-17 (Metric equivalent to 35x12.50) Tires have less then 100 miles on them and still have the nubbs on them Wheels: Center Line wilderness series Eclipse 17x9 six bolt. Need to be polished, also included is matching wheel for spare with 35 inch tire. (Over $2000 paid for wheel and tires) Front seat: Came out of 2005 Chevy Extended cab pick up. Seat is electric that needs to be hooked up and bolted in. Rear seat: Came out of 2006 Suburban. My idea was to get a back floor pan out of a Suburban so the seat would mount to it, so I could take it out if I wanted. It is included, do what you want with it. Shifter: Lokar cable operated shifter. Originally the Blazer was 4 speed truck that someone converted to an automatic. I added this shifter since it since it looked like the original 4 speed. Extras: I am throwing in a used Bestop Tigertop soft top with hardware. It needs the snaps to be complete and one of the windows repaired, but most boat top places should be able to fix it. I bought the top used, and have never had it on. Also included are after market window cranks, and used chrome wing windows. If I come across other things that I have collected for it, I will put those things as well. History;I bought the Blazer around 2007 as it sets. I added the Wheels and tires, seats and shifter. It has been in a open front shed under cover most of that time. I would love to keep this, but time and money are not on my side. So, here is your chance to get a great start on what should be a nice Blazer for someone who has some time and better a skill set then I do.
