2004 Mazda RX8 GT Black, Low 53,026 Mileage! First year for the new RX8, this GT optioned car has black leather seats, sun roof, pop up Navigation System, Bose CD Audio System, Heated Seats, Tinted Windows, Cruise Control, Steering Wheel Controls, etc... It is a 4 speed automatic, but it has paddle shifters on the steering wheel or can be shifted manually on the console shifter too! Purchased beginning of 2014 and have put over $3300 into it, it runs nice, Zoom, Zoom! I have listed parts / service and issues below... Please see pics! Any Questions, drop me a line! Parts & Service July 29, 2014 Mazda Dealership Compression Test $ 202 Decarbonize engine $ 254 4 New OEM / Mazda Coils $ 424 July 3, 2014 New Wix Air Filter $ 18 4 New NGK Spark Plugs $ 33 NGK Spark Plug Wires $ 20 SSV Actuator (OEM Mazda-Newer Updated One) $ 350 The SSV Valve was removed and it & the engine cleaned out then new SSV Actuator installed. Painted Calipers (Real Men Wear Pink!) Labor $560 April 10, 2014 2 Goodyear Eagle Sport AS Tires (Rear) Alignment $ 426 February, 22, 2014 2 new Beck Arnley Rear Brake Calipers $ 150 for the pair. 2 new Gates Water Pump and AC Belts $ 23 2 New Timken Front Wheel Hub & Bearing Assemblies $ 292Brake system bled, new synthetic brake fluid was put in. Labor $300 Sometime in February.... Purchased rubber trunk mat $100 AC / Heater Rotary Switch resoldered (a common factory problem on these cars)AC & Heater work VERY well! :) $180 Total: $ 3332 Issues... 2 Keys, FOB does not work.When driving solo, rear is ok, but with 2 or more passengers, rear end makes noise when you hit a hard bump. Dealer checked, needs 2 rear shocks replaced. Springs / ride height is good. Dash cracked on passenger side Body Under Driver's Door Handle, Dented... Under Passenger Rocker (must be below car to see) 6” dent / scratch Rear Bumper Driver Corner flares out (Mail box bump) Wheels, 1 no curb rash, others do. Car was in minor accident 2006 (before we owned it), no air bags deployed, was driven away, new passenger front fender / headlight replaced. I added a few pics of the front, you can see passenger headlight is newer, but body lines & paint are great.
