This is a nice 1980 Mercedes-Benz box truck. It was used daily to deliver parts on a 3 hour round trip delivery for several years but has been used less and less frequently in recent years. It was purchased new from Peterbilt of Kentucky in 1980. Model number 1116/51. It is a 6 Cyl diesel. We no longer have a use for the truck. Would be a great truck for a start up moving company, a delivery truck, or a on site tool truck that could be used to carry tools to and from job site daily. Truck has never been wrecked and is very clean for a 1980 delivery truck. We drove and used the truck for so many years he even has a name...Stubby. Stubby does have some wear and tear. Mostly just rock chips out of the paint in the front, very little rust (at base of cab where drivers side door covers when shut). Door on back of truck shows wear from the lifting and closing on the paint but closes and can be locked with pad lock perfectly. The truck has not been driven or started for a few months. It was last driven without any problems. Has a clear title.
