1953 Ford Crestline Sunliner 1953 was Ford’s 50 year anniversary, last year for the flathead, and the flagship convertible model was the INDY PACE CAR in 1953. This car is beautifully restored, and has only been driven for short test drives since completion. Almost everything is rebuilt on this car. Engine from Sam’s Vintage Ford Parts, Denver. set up and tuned by John Pachello. Body and paint by Hopps Auto Body, Denver. Stay Fast black top and parade boot. Needs top rams, so up and down by hand. 5 new wide whitewalls on powder coat red wheels. Repro police manifolds allow for true dual exhaust without mods to manifolds. New tinted windshield, sideglass all original. All rubber , seals and windlaces are new. all new chrome, stainless all polished. Too many new parts to list! You can tell from the pics. The radio in the pictures of the car is a picture of the radio taped to the dash. There are some paint chips around hood and trunk closures, and the hood hinges are a little weak, so the car is not perfect, but its pretty darn nice. It runs and sounds awesome!
