Vehicle Detail
This car is in fabulous condition -- it was absolutely babied by its first owner, who passed away last year. I bought it from the estate for my college bound son, and upgraded the sound system and upholstery. The sound system was updated with a Kenwood DNX H90HD, amp, new speakers all around. This Kenwood deck updates the car's technology platform -- great sound, Bluetooth, hands free phone, back up camera, NAV, Pandora, DVD, extensive sound controls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQQuKZqrxFA . The car is not configured as delivered for a subwoofer, so I had a local, highly renowned sound shop integrate a box into the trim between and behind the two seats; it absolutely matches the car trim and does not take away from any useful space in the car. http://www.soundsensationsauto.com/index. I also had the seats professionally re-upholstered with the black and red leather finish shown in the pictures http://www.katzkin.com/ . In total this was $5000 in upgrades. With this, the car is better equipped than a new Miata with all the upgrades. SADLY, My college bound son chose an international university, hence the car is not being used so I am reselling. It drives like a dream. Thanks to Mazda's 2006 redesign, the 2007 model offers better-than-ever performance with tight, balanced, zippy acceleration. Reviewers cited the new power folding hard top roof as best in class. Reviewers also see the 2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata as a fun-to-drive roadster for a very affordable price. Listed in the 2000 Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling two-seat convertible in history, the MX-5 was most recently redesigned in 2006. New for 2007 is a power retractable hardtop that raises or lowers in just 12 seconds. Kelley Blue Book calls the mechanism "a dream come true." In fact, the MX-5 is so well-liked that it has racked up several honors, including Edmunds' "Most Wanted Convertible Under $25,000". It's also a Consumer Guide "Best Buy" and is listed by Car and Driver as a "10Best Car" for the second straight year. Consumer Reports lists the MX-5 as the most "Fun to Drive," noting it "won drivers over with its balanced handling, quick and precise steering, and crispshifting six-speed manual transmission -- all available at a reasonable price."
