You are bidding on a 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible, base 6 cylinder 3 speed car with power top and factory A/C. The car is very original with original engine, transmission, etc. There is minor rust in the lower right rear quarter panel. The body is very straight with good gaps all around. The car starts easily and runs well. Engine has been converted to electronic ignition, rebuilt original carb, new fuel pump, and a new battery. Front end has been completely gone through with new upper and lower control arms, upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings and end links, wheel bearings, thrust rod bushings, springs, and shocks. Brakes on all 4 wheels have been replaced with new shoes, all hardware, wheel cylinders, and turned drums. The master cylinder is also new. The gas tank and gas lines are relatively new. Interior was gone through some time ago and is in very good condition. The top is in as new condition and the power top works smoothly. Car was resprayed some time before I purchased it 16 yrs ago. The paint is in fair condition. The PO changed the color to light blue from the original dark blue metallic according to the trim tag. The car has been driven very little since I purchased it. Always stored and covered in a garage or shop. Included in the sale is a custom fit flannel lined California Car Cover and a shop manual. Also included are some spare parts such as an original radio, some interior trim and assorted other parts. You are welcome to any old replaced parts I still have. The mileage on the odometer is currently 7000, I assume the mileage is 107K which is what I put in the listing, but I have no information on the true mileage of the car. The car still has the tires it wore when I purchased it, as they are at least 16 years old, they should be replaced even though they have significant tread. The front end also needs an alignment, it has not been aligned since the front end was rebuilt recently. The car is currently unregistered and does not have a current inspection, but I have a clear title. If you have any questions, please let me know.
