On Jul-27-14 at 21:25:36 PDT, seller added the following information: We are now halfway in! I just wanted to answer some questions. This 1966 Lincoln convertible I've had for two years. I acquired it from a sheriff in Arizona, who used it for parades and events. The car was painted satin black prior to my purchase. -I have replaced the power steering pump.-Overhauled gear box-Replaced front crank seal.-Overhang gasket.-Oil pan.-Plugs and wires-Installed dual stainless steel exhaust all the way back.-Sent vehicle to dyno shop to adjust carb and timing. -Also, on the interior, put in all-new insulation in the panels underneath the hood. Two pumps and she fires up! -I installed new carpet, including in the trunk. -All seats have been redone in leather.-Door panels removed and dyed black.-Wood panels on the door panels I sent to a wood craftsman to replace the veneer in a burl-wood finish. Most do not have this. He then clear-coated with epoxy for a one-of-a-kind look!-Replaced master power seat switch. -Put in 4-inch whitewall tires.-Next I sent vehicle to Curtis Fouts of 60's Lincoln repair in Costa Mesa, CA. He replaced the convertible top frame and harness, front header panel unlock motor. Then he installed a canvas stayfast material top. -Finally, I called John Cashman to go through all window switches, relays, current limiting switches. He also replaced both front door ajar switches, installed new hydraulic hoses to rear deck lid and new struts, and adjusted flapper motor. This car is the real deal! With the top down, it looks like an antique soap dish. It attracts crowds and lots of attention. People stop and wave and gather around to admire. I have invested over $45,000, but with a new family member, the wife says she must go. I have dropped the reserve so she can sell. Thanks for looking and bidding!
