I am selling my 1975 Honda MR175 Elsinore. The MR model bikes were only made for 3 years, and the 1975 was the only one that came in Green. This was Honda's first Enduro. Needless to say, this is a highly collectible bike. This is a 2-stroke bike. I have had the bike for about 4 years. I converted the points system over to CDI from an early model CR 125. New Rear Tire, New seat cover (Honda Correct). Replaced the kickstart spring so that it returns to the correct position. Newer Chain and both sprockets, wheels are true, New air filter. Bike runs strong and looks nice, but it is almost 40 years old. It is not perfect, but actually ridden as recent as 4th of July weekend 2014. Only selling due to want to get the kids an off-road go kart. The following items are in need of repair. Considering the age this is a small list. - Kickstart lever is stripped out. needs to be re-spined or replaced. Can be push started easily.- Gas tank was in freshly painted condition with correct color, but it tipped over when putting it on the trailer and now has a dent on the right side. See Photos.- Part of the light bucket is cracked at the very top. about the size of a dime.- The left rear shock leaks oil, needs rebuilt/replaced. but still works unless you are jumping.
