Vehicle Detail

1961 Buick Invicta Custom Purchased from Boise Idaho Estate in 2013 1967 Idaho Title Extremely Rare Buick, sporting a Impala style “Bubble Top” and Factory Bucket Seats! Midsize Buick with the big car 401 Nailhead engine. Paint code matches the paint on the car, appears to be original. Stored since 1994. Good solid car with just a little rust in low corner of right fender. Front of fender protrusions are dented on both sides. All glass is good, with some light wiper marks on the windshield. Right rear seems a little off track, and drivers vent skips a bit when cranking full shut. Bumpers have good chrome and only a few small dings. Brakes are done with full Kanter kit- Shoes, hoses, wheel cylinders, master cylinder. Gas tank was boiled clean. Factory galvanizing appeared as new in most places. Surface rust on other areas was treated with rust proofing paint. New belts hoses and tuneup parts. Car runs good with a little valve ticking, shifts well with no apparent slipping in the tranny. There is a thumping rotational noise at the rear end or drive shaft, which will need to be repaired. The car shows 44,000 miles, which is likely to be 144,000. When I got the car there was a lot of stuff from Union Pacific Railroad. I bought a parts car, 4 door Invicta, and I have the following parts available at extra cost- NOT Included in this auction price. 74,000 mile engine with no knocks or rattles $1200 Transmission, rebuilt 5 years ago according to previous owner. $500 ($1500 for both engine and trans) Front fenders have surface rust and will need patching at bottom corners (flat easy patch, easier fix than dents in front protrusions) $500 both. roysvintagecars.comadd info- padded dash has a few cracks running front to back, car has power seat , carpet is not original (original is dark brown with silver flecks can be seen inside the miniconsole, muffler is incorrect and loud. All glass is original safety plate.
