1957 Chrysler New Yorker 392 Hemi This is a native Colorado car. A very clean survivor of its era. I have a 1976 Title for the car. Its been parked for a while but the 392 Hemi was revived, and coaxed into running very well, with no apparent damage or distress. We drove it around the yard and it shifted well in reverse and all forward speeds. Rebuilt Carb New fuel pump, and Hot Hemi Heads adapter to use modern 318 pump. Fuel tank drained and fuel lines cleaned. Front fenders , bumper and trim removed Front fenders repaired for rust over the headlights Fenders, hood, inner fenders repainted Inner fenders and core support blasted, painted and reinstalled, frame rails painted with rustproofing paint New master cylinder and brake hoses Removed stuck heat valve from exhaust manifold New belts and hoses Rebuilt starter New windshield with car- NOT installed- all other glass and regulators are good That’s as far as I got. Will install hood and bumper –m included in bid cost. Will reinstall fenders at extra cost Door panels are pretty good. Upholstery looks good, but is crackly and will not hold up to use. Original fabrics and door panels are available from SMS.
