This is a 1972 Impala Convertible with just over 55,000 miles. This car was one family owned before me. I was told the mileage is an honest 55,000 miles and has not turned over, and based on how well the car runs and how tight it feels, I believe it is correct. It has it's original 350 V8 with a two barrel carburetor and three speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and power top. The car starts right up and runs, drives, stops like it should. Everything works with the exception of the clock and the fuel gauge. The muffler is a little louder than it should be but it doesn't have any holes in it and it passed inspection. The interior is all original and in very good shape with no rips or tears. The top is also in great shape and goes up and down easily. The convertible top boot is also included. The brakes are good and the tires have plenty of tread. The paint on the car was done in the early 90's and is the original cranberry red. It is starting to show some wear with a few dings and scratches, but it is overall presentable. It is starting to show some rust in front of the rear wheel wells (pictured), but that is the worst of it. The rockers and the bottoms of the doors appear to be very solid. The floors look solid and original but I did find one small patched area on the passenger floor well that's about 4 inches long (pictured). The frame is very solid. The trunk is in nice shape except for a few pin holes in one area on the driver's side (pictured). The car comes with its original owner's manual, protecto-plate, bill of sale and other paperwork from when it was new. Overall this is a very nice driver just the way it is. I have been driving it daily, weather permitting, and it hasn't missed a beat. The car has a clear Transferable Registration in my name. E-mail me with any questions and thanks for looking.
