1988 BMW R100GS Bumble Bee in collector condition with many extra upgrades and options. Bike is in exceptional condition in every way. Meticulously maintained, loved and cared for. Bike starts, runs and rides excellently. Absolutely zero leaks of any kind. Tires are almost new with maybe 600 miles on them. There are so many things to cover on this bike, its hard to know where to start so I'll just start. Bike has some really nice upgrades which include: Increased 3 quart oil sump Exhaust collector has been eliminated making it lighter with an excellent exhaust sound and more power. The transmission has been gone thru and a lower 1st gear and higher 5th gear have been updated so this bike will travel excellently in the dirt or down the highway. The Transmission Main Output Shaft has been serviced and the Very Important Cir-Clip Modification has been done. Stainless Steel front brake lines have been added for better braking. Bike has a Corbin dual passenger seat and a really nice solo seat with added luggage rack. This bike came with the high front fender beak and also has the low front fender which is currently on it. Has Factory BMW Heated Grips which was a rare option at the time, and they work great! New progressive 465 series rear shock and I have the original rebuild-able rear shock w/ Yellow Coil.BMW factory hard bags are included as well. Bike has always been garaged or kept in the lobby of my business when not being ridden and covered on overnight trips. Everything works and works as it should. This bike is tuned up and dialed in and operates exceptionally well from sea level to over 12,000 feet. Its a joy to work on, easy to maintain, simple by design and one of the most reliable motorcycles ever produced. Bike currently has 59,000 miles in it. Looks and rides like it has 10,000 miles on it.
