This 68 Firebird was bought from the original owner several years ago with the intent to restore but as time went on I don't have the time or space to do the work. It is all original according to the original purchaser. It was parked in a garage sometime in the 1980's and the rear window removed due to it leaking and has sat since then. The fuel tank was thought to have been leaking and a hose was attached to the fuel pump to start the car and run it several times per year. There is rust on the rear quarters, rear bumper and around the rear window as seen in the pictures. The engine is a Pontiac 350 (numbers on block match vin) with 2bbl carb and I think a power glide transmission. Trunk has two small rust spots near the shock mount on passenger side. Floor pans are not rusted as a lot of them are. Engine runs and I have driven car just to move it in and out of garage and it probably will need freshened up and new seals put in transmission. This will need trailered because of the fuel tank and window issues and no brakes (master cylinder?).
