This is a beautiful example of one of the most sought after models of the 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door post sedan. This classic attracts a lot of attention. I was taking the pictures for this add & people stopped to ask questions about the car and to admire it. I have owned 3 1956 BelAir Chevys and this is the best one. Every time I fire it up to go somewhere, it reminds me of another time when things were happier and gas was .19 cents a gallon. The color is ebony black, with the interior black with white trim. All chrome & stainless are in excellent shape. The grille, headlights, taillights, are excellent as are the bumpers. The badges as well are in good shape. As you can see by the pictures the car shows very well. Inside, this car sports a Vintage Air Conditioner, Hurst 4 speed transmission, new correct updated radio with power amp and speaker system, a working clock, oil pressure, volt meter, temp gauge & tachometer, working signal lights & LED taillights. Speedometer works. Seat belts are also installed, front & back. Headliner is in good shape. Under the hood is a 400 cubic inch small block engine with a mild roller cam & lifters. A four barrel carb with Edelbrock air cleaner & valve covers. Dual exhaust & headers, new battery. The tires & rims are like new. Power brakes with disc on the front stop the car quickly unlike the original brake system. Every thing is in working order to the best of my knowledge. Good Luck Bidding!
