Vehicle Detail
This 1963 Lincoln Continental Convertable is gorgeous! I have owned it for a few years and I have done much work to it. It runs great, looks excellent, and is a head turner for sure. I have had the transmission rebuilt at AAmco with a lifetime warranty purchased so it has been serviced every year. ( Not sure if it is transferable!) I replaced all the brakes also. I have had the front and rear bumpers chromed as you can see in the pictures. Since the car is in such great condition, it is easier to list what needs work: -The convertible lid and top needs some work. I had it working for a while but since I only drive it with the top down, the relays might need some work. I have all the receipts for all the work done, including the receipts from the previous order. I did replace the carpet kit (Grey in color) in the trunk and the hydraulics for the lid. I think it just needs someone with some "know how" to get it going. Like I said, I never worried about it working because I never drove with the top up. The top itself is vinyl and black in color. It does have two small tears (approx. 3 to 5 inches long on each side of it.) Other minor items not in working order: Horn, Clock on dashboard, speedometer, A/C. Even the original radio works! This car is always kept in my warehouse and I baby it like crazy! It is a great cruiser! Also...I am not looking to trade anything for it, so please don't waste time asking!! Reason I am selling it? I just don't drive it anymore, plain and simple. In fact, the last time I really drove it was in a local parade. Other than that, just driving around town here and there to do keep her fluids moving. I really hope someone will take it and get as much enjoyment as my family did! No warranties expressed or implied, and an as is where is sale. I have done my best to describe the car to my best ability. This is a vintage driving vehicle, NOT A SHOW CAR. Feel free to have the car inspected if you like. All sales are final, and there are no refunds or returns, and inspections recommended. Full payment is due within 3 days after the auction has ended unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup. Payable through PayPal but a bank wire is preferred. The car must be picked up in Costa Mesa, CA. As long as the car is paid for in full within 3 days after the auction has ended, then I can store the car for up to 15 days, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon, but I would like it picked up as soon as possible. Please look at all the pictures and ask all questions before bidding as I will be more than happy to answer them. Thank you and happy bidding.
