This 1965 classic Mustang 2+2 Fastback is a great car. Cars in this condition are not easy to come by. This is a solid running, driving car. This car has a clear Tennessee title. I have owned this car for the last 5 years. I will answer any questions you have about it as honestly as I know how. It has always been garage kept since I have owned it. I have too many toys and something must go. Let me state up front, this is not a show car. If that is what you are expecting, then stop now. It does have some flaws. It is an older restoration. If you were to restore this car, you could easily make money. I have built, owned and sold enough of these cars to know it is desirable and getting much harder to find. The paint is not perfect, but it is shiny and presentable. It does have a few cracks which I have shown in pictures. Don’t get me wrong, this car is a head turner. It will get you noticed and it is fun to drive. Lots of the parts are original. Since I have owned the car I have made a few upgrades. I cleaned & detailed the rear end and springs while working in this area. I have added an aluminum radiator too. Floor pans are solid. I have replaced the driver side floor pan. Also I added torque boxes to give the car added strength. The 1965 Mustang did not have these so this is a nice upgrade. I replaced the battery apron... old Mustangs are notorious for this being a problem area. Please see pictures of all the mentioned areas. A previous owner added the fiberglass hood with scoop, but it looks great on this car. This is an A/C car but it has no belt. Seats show some wear but are fine. It also has an original console. The car has the correct original motor which is a 289 4 bbl. It has an automatic transmission. It runs and drives very smooth. The car has disc brakes and power steering which are original to the car. It also has the desirable fold down seat which is original to the car.
