You must view this vehicle in person with your own eyes to make your own judgment on it's condition, before it will be sold. Sold 100% used, as-is. for parts. Running or not. Oh yes! FLAT WINDSHIELD! This is the rare 1971 Super that still had a flat front windshield just like the bugs, before they added a dash with curved glass! This has a SC title signed over, waiting for your name. All VIN tags are present, and all VIN match. Get YOURSELF into the VW WORLD!?! It starts right up, runs.. can drive down the street. Tap the wire for the horn. Brakes need work, etc. It doesn't smoke. Leaks usual oil, has usual rust. Needs many things done, it is a project. It is 43 years old. It's not going to run like your new granny van, this is going to be a long hard FUN experience! Dual Port 1600cc engine with Dual Oil Pressure Relief. Boasting the Solex 34 Pict-3 carburetor system. Naturally aspirated 60hp potential power. Aluminum crankshaft pulley. Round chrome air cleaner. I will sell it considerably cheaper WITHOUT the engine and seats if requested. Turn signal wires, not hooked up. Needs all new window rubbers. Needs some carpet and a headliner. Yeah, it needs brake work. Radio is right this second not working. Doors shut easily and fine. What a splendid fun project this one would be. The dash pad needs put back on. Look at those 14" gold wheels, and the treads are good too! Whitewall side out, the stock wheel would have been 15". 4 Speed Manual transmission. Black shifter knob. Key to start the ignition!!! Some hot petals down their for mashing the gas and brakes. Some seat belts back their. The battery is under that back seat. Big flat tank with external access for effortless refueling purposes. Rear window defroster. The seats are all folding forward, and etc. The condition of the seats are in fairly well condition. I have never had this down the road over 40 miles per hour, really. It is going to need some going over. No I am not allowing a test ride like that on my insurance. We can start it up, prove it runs.. move it around.. It needs restored, seriously. Almost forgot the best part. The paint scheme is flat black with self etching green primer, aeresols. So you can easily paint it however you want if you don't like it. Not wanting to give you any ideas or anything, but this would make a cool Baja Buggy. A lowered Baja Buggy, or even a Volksrod to standard beam conversion with extension. You could put some 2332cc turbo, or Subaru engine swap conversion in here. This ride is sleeper sick.
