Up for auction I have a 2005 Volkswagen New Beetle GLS 2.0L Non-Turbo with and automatic transmission. I bought this vehicle as a parts vehicle but never ended up using it. It has no keys and the drivetrain has never been tested. I bought it at a very reputable salvage auction that sells for insurance companies all over the world. Every vehicle I have bought there has always ran, probably due to the fact that the vehicle had to of been running when it was in the accident, obviously. A lot of times when the cars get towed away from the accident scene, the owners take the keys without thinking. Therefore, they are sold the same way as they get them. It also has a Scrap Certificate of Title, that will substitute as a title so you can never put this vehicle back on the road, it is for Parts Use Only. Certain insurance companies do that because they don't want their vehicles put back on the road, whether they are wrecked or not that's just the way it is.
