You are looking at a 1951 Studebaker coupe with the large rap around window in the back which makes this a starlite. Its a 2 door. It runs nice and the engine is very very quiet. It is still the 6 volt system. We drive it around the block occasionally to keep things up and running. Before i acquired the car it had sat in storage for 15 +- years. The car has had work done, i don't know how long ago though. I've owned the car for 4 years and have not done much with it. My plans were to re paint it and do some minor fixing on it. I now am short on funds to finish a shop to work in and am selling it. The paint is thin and starting to show primer in a couple of spots, Nothing huge but up close you can definitely see the red primer in a couple spots. The car is very solid with no rust issues. Its very hard to find these cars with little to no rust and this is one. The lines are not the straightest and the work done on it wasn't perfect. It wouldn't be a perfect show car by no means but a very good car to drive around and play with. The drive train and frame is very solid and straight. The hub caps are not original and one is missing some parts and in the trunk. The fender guards are also in the trunk along with some belts and a couple other things. The Fender guards are suppose to have rubber on them and they do not i dont have the rubber just the metal. The steering wheel is broke in several places and has been glued to stay together. The interior has been redone its not original but looks exceptionally well. Also the drivers side door glass is cracked.
