Vehicle Detail

OK so here is the story on the car - it is a local Kentucky car, last registered in 1999 when the engine developed a knock and was parked. Car has been sitting since then. I was originaly looking for a non-TTop f-body to do an LS1 swap and take to the LSX fest in Bowling Green to throw around the track. After buying the car 4 years ago, I discovered it is something of a rarity with the WS6 option and decided not to modify the car. I have since then done the LS1 swap in a 81 Camaro and have 4 other cars waiting restoration. Being a little realistic rather than let it sit for 10 years until I get around to it I have decided to let it go. This car is worth the restoration effort and expense and is a fairly complete car and is all original. Originally liveried in the attractive Nocturn Blue and Light Blue Interior with Blue Decals - it is a very attractive color combination. WS6 - First year for the four wheel disc brake option, comes with the WS6 bigger swaybars and 8 inch wide Snowflake wheels. Standard T/A's had smaller sway bars and 7 inch wheels. All 4 Snowflakes are in good shape with no rash or dings. Hood - rusted out - the worst part on the car - I have another straight clean hood to go with it. Engine/trans - has been sitting for 13+ years and have not tried to start it - known to have a rod knock it needs a complete rebuild. Interior - Rather nice console with no burns and only a very small crack next to shifter. Seats had covers on them but this car has been sitting fore a long time and needs a full interior, dash pad etc. Gauge panel is complete. The column is tilt and I have keys to vehicle. Front Fenders - Rust at the bottom - needs patching. Doors - Fairly solid, drivers door does have some surface rust next to weatherstripping on bottom edge. Outer door handles are broken. Rocker panels - Drivers side appears solid, passenger side must be replaced. Floor pans - solid except for drivers toe board, passengers has some surface rust and a chunk of sealer has fallen out. Quarters - appear solid and rust free. Decklid - rust hole next to spoiler. Trunk - Mostly solid with rust at the back part on one side. Subframe/Rear rails - appear solid with surface rust only. Rear Valance - Inner needs to be replaced and outer does have some rust at bottom. Other than the rust issues it would be a rather straight forward restoration. On the Camaro we just did we replaced both full floors, drivers rocker, trunk and inner and outer rear valance on a rotisserie and sheetmetal was under $500. Typically most T/A's in this price range are incomplete or partially stripped. Please check your eBay advanced search for completed auctions to see what these are actually selling for. There are a lot of regular non WS6 T/A's that go in the 5-8000 range and are driveable but in truth need a complete restoration to be really nice. Odometer may not reflect actual mileage. Please inspect the pictures carefully, if you have any questions or would like additional photos you can call or text 606-271-8278 before 8 pm EST please. $500 deposit due at end of auction. Can aid with vehicle loading but transport is the responsibility of the buyer.
