You are looking at a very nice rider quality 1964 Honda CB77 Superhawk. This is the last year for the low bars, flat seat and counterclockwise speedometer. This bike is ready to ride as it is. I have installed new tires, chain, control cables and battery. The loose ball bearing steering neck bearings were also replaced with modern tapered roller bearings. The tank badges were replaced with a set of new reproductions that look just like the originals. The mirrors are new from Honda and the grips are new old stock Honda. I replaced the bars which were bent with a new set along with the brake, throttle, and clutch cables. The seat cover is a new reproduction. All of the red paint on the bike is factory applied with the exception of the lower fork legs and the chain guard. The rest of the paint was touched up and waxed out. The fuel tank has a dent in the right hand front as well as a ding in the chrome side cover ( see photo). All of the silver paint is new as the factory paint was very thin. The chrome on the bike needs re-plated to look 100% mainly the brake arms, rear shocks, wheels and spokes. The mufflers are in very good condition with no holes or rust as they are made of stainless steel. The factory baffles are still installed. The electric start works great as well as the charging system and the lights and horn. The bike starts and runs great.The bike still retains it's original tool kit! I have the passenger footrest they will need new rubbers. I removed them because they don't fold up like the front ones and it hurts to hit your shin on them! The transmission and clutch work as they should. The bike is a blast to ride and turns heads wherever it goes. This is my own personal bike I put together to ride about two years ago. I am the service manager at Kirksville Yamaha Honda. All work was done by me. You would be hard pressed to find another one of these that is ready to ride and could not restore one yourself for the reserve I am asking.
