1979 cobra mustang with 1979 pace car hood. this car is a Carolina car so no rust. the guy i got it from put a new radiator in it, new one wire distributor, new radiator hoses, new wires and plugs. Motor is a 302 with a holly 4 barrel and automatic trans. short tube headers into h pipe no mufflers or tail pipes. good black interior with new headliner the drivers seat is torn, dash pad is cracked from the sun like with all old mustang. white face gauges all the gauges work. had a/c but the compressor and condenser have been taken off by previous owner i do not have them. the heater works good. manual windows and locks. does have power steering and power brakes. new 1.5 inch lowering springs. rust free and all the glass is good. rims are in very good shape but the tires are dry rotted. clean and clear s.c. title in my name. this car is no show car but a good rust free running and driving project. car does run warm because it needs a bigger cooling fan and a fan shroud. right know it has a small fan on it that is to far back form the radiator it runs warm not hot. the pace car hood is worth $450 by itself. i will be more then happy to answer any questions that you have you can email or call 843 289 2386. i have drove the car a few times never more then 30 mins or so from my house it drivers good for a 1979 mustang but i would recommend trailing it home because of the tires and it running warm and the brakes could use a going over the car does stop but it is a old car so you may want to check the brakes before driving to far just to be safe. the car is in Nichols SC which is 1 hour from myrtle beach SC, 1 hour from Florence SC, 1 1/2 hours from fayetteville NC, 40 minutes from lumber ton NC, 2 1/2 hours from Columbia SC and 2 1/2 hours from Charlotte NC. if you don't live more then 2 or 3 hours from me i can bring the car to you for $125 as long as you pay first. payment must be made 3 days after auction ends cash or money order only. then you can pick the car up when ever. buyer must pay shipping and make all arrangement but i will help on my end if need. the car has a very low reserve on it i just want it gone so i can fix my other project.
