Vehicle Detail

Reluctantly up for auction is my 1981 Cadillac Eldorado with 39K original miles and counting. Selling to fund the restoration of another car that's caught my eye. I am the second owner with the first purchasing the car new here in town and then using it only occasionally for the next few years. It was then placed in dry storage in the late 1980s and that's where I retrieved it from. The car has the 6.0L V8-6-4 engine that performs as it should. Options include power steering, brakes, windows, door locks, seats, trunk release, trunk pull down, cruise control, trip odometer, AM/FM stereo cassette (works), rear defroster, lighted vanity mirrors, map light, delay wipers with mist setting, tilt/telescope steering wheel, electronic mileage and temperature readout, and twilight sentinel. Has A/C but needs charged. Starts, runs, drives and stops. In addition to the original build sheet, I have completed and have receipts for the following maintenance work: - New brakes including booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve, lines, pads, and all four calipers. - New tires, battery and professionally replaced windshield (I cracked it retrieving a dropped wrench). - New spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and air filter. The oil will be changed for the new owner. - New belts, PCV valve, emissions check valve. - New ECM (main computer) with an extra good unit included. - New headliner with extra material included. The exterior of the car is in good condition. There is one small dent in the driver's door (see picture) caused by the tow truck line slipping - easy fix. There are also a few small spots where the paint flaked while in storage. Overall though, the car is very presentable as-is. The interior is in very good condition. The leather seats still smell new and there are no rips or tears. No cracks in the dash pad. I am including the following extra parts with the sale - an extra wire wheel hubcap, four extra center caps, trunk gasket, ECM, driver's door mirror with thermometer option, Cadillac mud flaps, and whatever else I come across before the auction ends. The car will need the following: The power door locks don't work but I am including an NOS relay with the sale. Also, the car will need a muffler, and a new one is included. The power antenna is stuck in the up position. All easy fixes that I just don't have time to complete. As I said, the car runs well, but I've only put about 500 miles on it in the two plus years I've had it so I would trailer it home after purchase. The car needs driven! Shows well so it's a great car to take to the local cruise-in - I have! I invite personal inspections and questions before bidding. All sales are final and the car is sold as-is with no warranty whatsoever. Where else can you buy a nice, used classic car with only 39,000 miles that can be driven daily for this kind of money?! PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING: The opening bid reflects my investment. This is a no reserve auction so high bid owns the car. DO NOT bid if you have less than 10 positive feedbacks or your bid will be canceled. Also, please bid only if you are able to complete the sale. This means asking permission from your significant other, making sure you have your cash in hand, and anything else needed to complete the sale. I will not accept offers to end the auction early. A $500 deposit via PayPal is required within 48 hours of auction's end. Payment for the balance MUST be in CASH in US currency at the time of vehicle pick up and title transfer at my local bank. I will NOT accept checks of any kind, promissory notes, or PayPal for the balance. Unfortunately, there are too many shady characters out there and I must protect my investment. Thanks for understanding. Clean title in my name. Thanks for looking!
