Vehicle Detail
Car was in process of amatuer restoration when owner passed. and car sat in garage for several years before I got it as part of estate sale. It looks like car was being re-wired when work stopped and has a 9 circuit wiring kit installed. Some of it has been re-wired and other things were not yet done with plenty of available circuits left. Under the hood is new solenoid and wiring. Exhaust, all shocks, water pump, master cylinder and brake lines are new or rebuilt. Carter WCFB is rebuilt and motor I.D. is for a 289 1957 Silver Hawk. Motor starts and runs cool but does not run smooth like its firing on only 6 or 7 cylinders. I am not an expert but I have been told by an old car mechanic that it needs a valve job. This car starts, runs, stops and yard drives but not fit for a public highway ( no you cannot drive it home). Floors have some rust through and places that have been patched. Trunk is solid. Body panels are rust free and I dont know if body work was done or it was just a nice body to start with.Glass in both doors is new and windows roll up and down. Dash is nice and speedo and tach work, radio does not. Tires are trash. No title,(ebay program makes you put in a class of title ) sold on Bill of Sale.On Jun-27-14 at 13:54:33 PDT, seller added the following information: adding to listing which is not shown in pictures 2 bucket seats that were in car when I got it. Nice shape in gray cloth and are smaller and fit well in the car. They look like S-10 seats to me, also the front seat springs which are very badly rusted.
