1971 Chevy Chevelle /Malibu 2 door . I have had this project for a few years . It's time for someone else to have it. Here are the specifics on the car. Body- new front clip- fenders, wheel wells, radiator support. Hood and quarter skins and bumpers new replaced by previous owner. Trunk is good, trunk drip edges good, door jams good, Frame solid, Floors solid , except drivers was replaced by previous owner. The passengers front fender is brand new but has a small dent about the size of my hand where my son backed into it . Other then that there is no body damage or rust, just need finished up and painted. The front clip still needs some aligning as well. Engine and Trans- the car I believe has the original engine and transmission. I rebuilt the top half of the original engine I put over a grand into it , new lifters, roller rockers, cam, timing chain , new Distributor,water pump, new harmonic balancer, new oil pump, chrome fuel pump, chrome alternator, chrome intake, new 650 carb, new high torque starter, new radiator , new radiator fans, new headers and header exhaust. Put all that in and then one day I was moving it and revved it to high and got a knock in the lower end, should have done a whole rebuild. Engine will need rebuilt or replaced. Interior- front seat are newer ordered by previous owner, in good shape. Back seat needs recovered. Console is nice, it has a new lid , it needs the hinge bolted on , dash is in good shape. The interior needs redone overall , but is fair and in complete condition as you can see in the pictures. Tires and rims- really nice Chevy rims and tires about 70% it also come with set of Black Aero racing rims . The car also come with many misc new and used parts shown in the pictures in the trunk, including front bolt kit, ignition key tumbler, new interior door handles, chrome brake booster.You will need to trailer the car home. Nice project for someone . I hate to see it go I just do not have enough time. I hope you enjoy it , good luck bidding. Thanks.
