Here is a nice running and driving 1951 Ford pickup truck. Its a South Dakota truck thats nice and solid throughout. It has some rust in the usual spots, the very backs of the rear fenders as shown in the pics, a small spot on the right cab corner, and the floor has a small patch on the passenger side. It looks like there has been repair on the front fenders up by the seams as well, done properly with metal welded in. No major dents but has small dents/dings in places. The paint is black and is very old, not sure if its original or not but I believe the truck came new in black. The doors open and close as they should and the windows roll up and down smooth. The bed has new wood in it. Front and rear glass is good. Both door glass have cracks.The seat is nice,firm and comfortable and has a new cover. The flathead v8 has a rebuilt carb, two new waterpumps, new belts, fresh tune up, and it just purrs . The electrical system has been rewired and converted to 12 volt. All lights work. The original gauges have the resistor for 12 volt but are not hooked up. Vacuum wipers do not work and a replacement wiper motor is included in the auction. New dual exhaust front to back with glasspaks and it sounds really nice. The 4 speed trans shifts smooth with no noise but the throwout bearing is dry and makes noise so it may need replacing. The brake system is all new including shoes and all cylinders and lines. The parking brake is not hooked up. The 16 inch tires all look like new with porta walls added which can be removed if you like. All in all this is a nice solid truck that starts and runs excellent and drives down the road beautifully.
