Vehicle Detail
PICTURES ARE SEVERAL YEARS OLD, BUT CAR HAS BEEN KEPT IN THE GARAGE / GARAGE IS IN VERY POOR SHAPE AND WILL BE REPLACED FOLLOWING SALE OF MUSTANG Interior (See pictures for visual) Pros: The interior is all original. (Excluding the front dash) Cons: Since the interior is all original, there are rips and tears in some of the upholstery and unfortunately the dash face. Exterior (See pictures for visual) Pros: The exterior has the original paint, chrome, hub caps (all 4), Ford emblems, all glass, mirrors, back bumper and Auto Dealer Emblem. Cons: The paint and body show wear from being 50 yrs. old and there are rust spots in the typical Classic Mustang areas. Since parts are original, they do show signs of age. Engine (See pictures for visual) Pros: The mileage is correct at 34125.2 on the odometer. The motor has not been turned over or modified from the original state. The car is equipped with a generator. Cons: Engine has been sitting for years without being started but was able to be turned by hand when these pictures were taken. Transmission (Sorry no pictures for visual) Pros: The transmission has not been rebuilt. Since the engine has low miles on it, so does the transmission. Cons: Still has the original gears and parts that came with it. Replaced Parts Front bumper & dash were replaced sometime prior to my ownership in the 80's. CodeCracker™ results for 5F07F166649 model year: 1964½ built at: Dearborn (Dearborn, MI) bodystyle: Hardtop engine: 260 CID - 2V consecutive #: 166649 body series: Hardtop - standard-trim bucket seats scheduled assy.: June 15, 1964 exterior color: "Skylight Blue" interior trim: Medium Blue crinkle vinyl (White headliner in Hardtop) sales office (DSO): Cincinnati, OH ("CI") axle ratio: 3.00:1 "conventional" transmission: "C-4" automatic Terms: Car is shipped at buyers expense. The car is sold as is where is. No warranties expressed or implied. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge and ability. If you have questions feel free to e-mail me as I check that several times a day. I expect a $300 dollar deposit within 48 hours of auction end in the form of a money order, certified bank check or PayPal (buyer pays PayPal fee). The remaining balance will be due within 96 hours of auction close and it must also be in the form of a money order, certified bank check or green money. NO personal checks. Additional Info I still believe this car to be in “good shape” for being 50 years old. As far as I know, all of the numbers on the car match. The car does have a generator on it rather than an alternator. This is a great car for someone with the know-how and time to restore it properly. The car still has a tag on the back of it that reads “NORWOOD AUTO SALES” where it was originally purchased. I still have the original keys and owner’s manual that came with the car (there are also ID tags that were given with the keys in case they needed to be reordered). Consumable parts are not original - such as oil, gas, brake shoes, spark plugs etc. The driver’s side shock tower may need to be replaced. PLEASE ASK questions before bidding. I want you to be happy with your purchase. Sorry there is not a whole car shot but it has been confined to a 1 car garage for many years. If any information is omitted, it is not intentional. Please ask questions. *** Brakes are seized and the winning bidder will need a flatbed tow truck for pickup***
