1961 two owner corvette. I bought car in1973 in Dublin, California..Car was frame off restored in 1973-74. Original 283 was shot so I installed a 327. This engine was good up to 1990 when a break in the radiator caused it to over heat, was on the road 100 miles from home. Fried the rings and seals...My neighbor had a 1980 corvette that was wrecked and sold me the engine..I completely rebuilt it, over bore and cam. Heads are 1965 462 62cc FI. I also installed a 1965 muncie M21 transmission and a zoom performance clutch kit. Radiator is a 4 pass super cooler type..never gets hot. In 1993 I bought a set of 1960 era slot Mags at a swap meet..In 2012 I had them factory restored to original finish(not polished)I also installed a new set of tires 215x70x15...no miles.I have the original spinner hubs and 15X7 steel wheels. The brakes are new and I have a set of brake cylinders, plus the master cylinder was changed 2010.I have two brand new Brake Drums...Was going to change the front to Disc.. Both tops are excellent, some wear on both..Had hard top on a frame and rag top up to preserve it, put hard top on for pictures..If not sold will remove it..Milage on odometer is original..Engine has about 3000 miles. All original factory manuals and owner manual goes with car..An excellent older vette to drive now and mini restore later if you want....Note;; The market value of an "average" condition 1961 corvette is $51,200. my price for an above average car is a bargin
