2000 Honda Passport I bought this truck intending to use it for the winter but that never happened.It seems the transmission has an issue. The reverse is sometimes weak or has a delay in shifting. The first and second gears are fine, however once it goes out of 2nd gear it will not go into the third gear at all, its like its in neutral. I tried to drive it down a nice steep long hill in neutral, i got to 50 mph and put in "D" still felt like no gears there. once it gets down to 20 MPH the second gear goes right back in no problems. The engine runs excellent- 3.5 liter V6 The battery starts the car up no problems. The heat works well, The A/C blows cold The brakes feel good. Shocks and Struts are great. The truck drives and handles excellent. Steering feels great and responsive. It is due for an oil change, it basically sat for most of this winter. The body is excellent for its 14 year old age and northern environment. The pictures should depict so. If you have any questions please let me know. I will post more pictures soon! This car can be driven however i would only drive it 25-30 mph max. it really need to have the transmission issue addressed if you plan to drive this for any significant distance. Leather interior is excellent. Non smoking or pet owner THE 4x4 WORKS AS IT SHOULD The cruise control works The AM/FM works. I never used the CD or TAPE player. No reason for me to think it would not work. Head lights, turn signals, brake lights are good. The truck is located in Martinsburg wvI would recommend you have the truck transported, however it can be driven up to 30 mph for short distances if necessary and safe to do so. There are a few good and honest transmission shops within 15 miles of the van should you wish to have the transmission checked out. I called a local trans shop and they said it may be a solenoid, the reverse and 3rd gear have the same gear ratio (if that makes any sense?) POWER WINDOWS AND LOCKS WORK FINE SUNROOF DOES NOT WORK, MAYBE A SWITCH? EXHAUST IS GOOD, ITS NOT NOISY TIRES ARE OVERALL VERY GOOD THE STEREO WORKS FINE THERE ARE NO CHECK ENGINE OR CHECK TRANS LIGHT ON BUT THE ABS LIGHT IS ON. THE FUEL GAUGE WORKS. ITS A COMMON ISSUE FOR THE FUEL GAUGE SENDERS TO GO BAD. TRUCK DOES NOT SMOKE, TICK OR KNOCK. ENGINE RUNS REALLY STRONG.
