Barn Find!!!! Well, storage facility find. This mustang was purchased from a young military man that had received orders while deployed and had stored the car at a local indoor storage facility for the last 18 months. The car was very dusty, needed air in three tires, along with other things I will mention. Once we got it back to the shop we put a jump box on it and it fired up for about 2 seconds. No fuel so we dropped the tank to find a severely rusted tank on the inside, so we installed a new gas tank along with fuel pump and new filter. Started right up but needed a mass air meter which is new and was replaced. Also changed the front brake pads.So now to the drivability, the car runs really strong for a stock mustang. The bad part is the drive and overdrive are out and it doesn't shift into those gears. It also has a bent outer tie rod end but it does drive straight. The car has been in a front end collisions (that has been repaired) but it looks to be all before the suspension and nothing major. The top has two cuts in it which we put tape on in case it rains. Another problem is the right rear quarter glass regulator is out and the driver winder works but wants to jump out of the track. It seems to be stock except for flow-master mufflers. I've been a mustang guy since my teens and would love to keep it but this would be a great starter for anyone who wants a classic at a reasonable price.
