I am selling this car for my father, I'm not an expert but will do my best to give an accurate description and will answer any questions that I can. This car was stored in a barn until 1979/80 when my father completed a mild restoration on it. It was repainted and received a new interior as well as new running boards and re-chromed bumpers. This was basically a rust free car but the fenders where in poor condition and he opted to replace all 4 fenders and a small panel behind the rear bumper with fiberglass replacements. With that exception this is a rust free steel bodied car. It did not have a frame off restoration, see the pictures to see what great shape the original undercarriage is in. The engine, transmission and all other parts are all original. Any items that that have been replaced over the years were nos or original type parts. He showed this car for several years in the early 1980's. It consistently finished in the top 3 and even received a best of Chevrolet award. In recent years it has assumed the role of Sunday afternoon driver. It is still a beautiful automobile but does have few cosmetic imperfections (scratches in paint and rubber cracking on running boards etc.). It is a great candidate for a custom project or a total new restoration, or enjoy it just the way it is! There are no returns and selling in "as is " condition.
