Meticulously Maintained RARE 2002 Toyota Rav4EV owned by actor Ed Begley Jr.! Not only is this one of the original all electric cars, but it was owned by one of the original environmentalists! This car has had one owner, Mr. Begley himself and it was featured in many episodes of the hit HGTV/Planet Green show "Living with Ed" It is a clean title with 119,000 miles on it (and if you know these cars at all, you'll know this one is only in it's adolescence!) It was purchased in March 2002 at Toyota of Hollywood, and it has been meticulously maintained by them ever since. All records are held there electronically and will be made available to the new owner. This green beauty runs and drives beautifully. The automatic transmission is incredibly smooth and quiet. The only real hassle in driving it, is answering questions at every stoplight! There are only 500 Rav4EV's estimated to still be on the road today! The original MSRP in 2002 was $42,000. A new battery was put in February 2011 which cost $13,050. The new battery has at least 7-8 more years of life on it and it gets 85 miles to a charge! The car also comes with the 220V wall charger. There are a few small cosmetic imperfections, typical of a well loved 13 year old car. It was just detailed inside and out and it is sparkling! Another fabulous perk to owning this all electric car is that it comes with a White Clean Air Decal, that is only available to Zero Emission vehicles. Which means, in California, you can ride in the carpool lane all by yourself!
