2000 Ford Explorer XLT. 4-Door. RWD. Automatic. Please see above for option specifics. This Explorer has been a great vehicle but has the following issues: *transmission slips into overdrive if you take off too fast *air conditioning compressor has gone out As far as I know, this vehicle has a good strong engine. In that the vehicle has set for approx. a month, the engine tries to start but won't turn over. The back windshield wiper is non-functioning. The power locks do not always lock all four doors. There is minor hail damage. Also, due to age, the paint is faded in a spot on the hood as well as a spot above the windshield. The windshield does have a crack (approx. 2 ft. long) that has been professionally sealed. Some door dings. Please remember, this is a 14 year old vehicle.
