1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe, 5 speed, matching numbers Giulia in very nice driver quality condition, the car runs and drives well. It has had a comparative gentle life and has won awards at local car shows in the last 6 years. From the documents that come with the car it shows 5 owners from new [prior to me] and shows a total mileage of just over 49k miles, which i believe to be correct, there is a notebook showing the mileage in 1972 at 42k miles, then a further note showing the mileage in 2006 at 45k miles. The car had a bare metal respray approximately 8 years ago, today the paint is excellent, with two minor blemishes [see pics] The rockers are in excellent condition, the underside looks good, but there are a couple of patches on middle two out riggers. All the chrome is excellent with no rust or dents. The engine runs well; hot oil pressure at 2000 rpm: 25 psi and 55+ psi at 4000 rpm. The engine starts easily, runs well with within normal operating temps and does not smoke. There are a couple of oil leaks, but nothing major. 5 speed transmission and clutch all work well with out any problems This is a drum brake car the car stops well with no judder and the hydraulic rubber lines have been recently replaced The instruments all work, as do the choke and reserve warning lights, currently the horn does not work, but I hope to have it fixed before the auction ends. The period radio lights up when turned on, but remains silent! The seats and door cards have been recovered some years ago and are in good shape, the carpets are "as new" and the headliner is clean, however the stitching on the covering over the instrument cluster is coming undone. The weather striping around the doors/trunk as been recently replaced. The car comes with the original owners hand book, Alfa tool kit and Battaini jack. The Kumho tires all have between 6mm/7mm of thread and the spare is new. Please look at the pictures and ask questions before you bid, I can supply additional pictures is needed - the car is located approximately an hour north of downtown Atlanta and can be inspected by prior appointment. The car is sold without any warranty and has a Georgia registration in my name - Georgia does not require titles for car of this age. I require a $500 deposit via PayPal within 48 hrs and the balance prior to collection via wire transfer. For overseas buyers i can assist [at your expense] in getting the car to a port, but you will need to make all the actual shipping arrangements.
