I have owned the car for 28 years; I believe that I am the 3rd owner. I purchased the car from a private party in Montery Park, CA on March 27, 1986. The car had been in an accident that damaged the right front fender. According to the seller, he had purchased the car ten years earlier with the idea of restoring it. He never got to it so the car sat 10 years in his backyard. The weather had deteriorated the top, the seats, and the carpets. In addition he had removed the engine. I purchased the car and engine "as is" and loaded it on a car hauler trailer and brought it to my backyard. I spent the next 2.5 years disassembling most of the car and then restoring or replacing the parts, one at a time. I have many more pictures of the car.
