1985 Honda CR

1985 Honda CR500R. There is NO title to this bike. I have no paperwork to obtain a title either. A majority of bikes like this one were not titled in my home state when they were new. Engine starts and runs good. Clutch and transmission work as they should. Has an older type compression release on the cylinder that was added long ago. The exhaust has a dent as seen in pictures-it is about 3/8 inch deep and would be easy to repair if you so desire. Radiators are straight and in good working condition. The main parts/repairs the bike needs are swingarm and suspension linkage bearing kits. The front chain buffer is falling apart due to age. The front break lever is broke. Right foot peg return spring broke. These are some of the known things wrong with the bike. Otherwise this is just an older Honda CR that's been rode and is no cherry for sure. It would make an excellent bike to restore. Without saying the 85-87 Honda CR500 had some of the most potent engines ever produced in a 500cc two-stroke motocross bike. The front tire, fork boots and graphics on the bike are original and showing their age. Original seat cover is torn. The kick starter is from an 88 CR250R and works good Buyer must arrange and figure their own shipping cost-I will help if I can but I'm not interested in breaking the bike down to ship.
