I bought this a year ago at a local auction to repair and get on the road again. I got as far as the bad carbs and put it aside and never got back to it. A critter got into the air filters just in front of the carbs and camped out for a while. The result was badly corroded carburetors. From what I can tell there the damage didn't go much further than that. The bike has very low mileage which means it has been sitting for a long while. When I bought it the engine was still freely moving with good compression. It is dirty and has some surface rust consistent with a bike this old that has been sitting in a dry area. It should make a good project. Some ideas I have come across are cafe racers or chop it up and have fun with it. It also has plenty of usuable parts if you want to go that way. I'm putting this up for auction on ebay to take advantage of Ebays new motorcycle shipping. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
