Vehicle Detail

This 1933 Fordor Sedan was Purchased by my Cousin's Father 20 years ago in Santa Ynez ( Desert Like area). It is truly a survivor car. The body is so straight that it glows. The car was running when parked. He purchased through the years many items to replace the door and window seals they are still new in the packages. The original Mohair interior is intact and useable after a deep cleaning. The there is no rust on this car that I can see. The doors fit like they should and close nicely. It sits on its original 17 inch wheels. It still has mechanical brakes, Dual Gas Gauge, engine turned dash, dome light with switch on the passenger side. The headlights and grill shell are flawless. I believe this to be a pretty rare car. It is perfect for a clean up and drive as a survivor or would make the perfect family sedan street rod. The car is located in the Central Coast of California and is freeway close between San Francisco and Los Angeles. A $500 Non Refundable deposit is required at the close of a successful bid through Pay Pal with the balanced wired to our bank account. Please ask any questions prior to bidding on this great car. NOTE: WHEN VIEWING THE PICTURES, THE NICE ONES ARE AFTER WE CLEANED THE CAR. THE OTHERS ARE PRE CLEANUP. On May-12-14 at 17:55:45 PDT, seller added the following information: May 12. Additional Pictures have been posted. We have not had time to try to start the car. The engine does turn over. It has been cleaned up and you can check out the pictures. It is a very striking automobile. It definitely has had a repaint in the original color. You can see the original paint and even the pen stripe in some places where the repaint has come off. I was not able to see a number on the transmission. Also, there is a small dent that you can see on the front left fender. It is inboard of the edge so it should not effect the outside bead. The frame indeed matches the title, here is a partial Vin Number, Star5229xxx which indicates a July 1933 build date. I hope this answers most of the questions. We are trying to reduce the fleet, so bid high and often to make it yours. Just think of the money you will save not having to repair any rust or dents, except the small one on the left front fender. I don't think you will find a nicer 33 Fordor anywhere. Good Luck, Jay
