This car is being sold at NO RESERVE to the highest bidder. I am willing to end the auction early and if you are serious about making an offer send one along with your contact number. Read below as I do a good job describing EXACTLY what you will be getting. This car recently had quite a bit of money invested mechanically and for the top which has a glass rear window. This is a car that can be driven, enjoyed and restored all at the same time. Its NOT a show car and DOES have rust and its NOT $20K +. Its an affordable convertible that can be purchased right and enjoyed immediately. Here is a list of the new parts: new top, starter, door handles, front and rear bumpers, brake hoses front and rear, front wheel bearings, brand new tires, front and rear wheel cylinders, master cylinder, points, cap, rotor, wires, ignition, vacuum hoses, vacuum advance, oil, filter, fuel lines (steel and rubber), fuel tank, fuel filter, rebuilt carburetor, fuel pump, thermostat, freeze plugs, radiator, hoses, water pump, all drive belts, battery cables, and battery. Thousands have been spent in getting this car to the next level and obviously there is a bunch left to do. The paint is a very old single stage that shines beautifully. It clearly needs body work and rust repair. I have photographed all of the issues in the body. There are several spots that are checked, chipped and rusted. Please take a good look at the photos and know the defects dont always show up perfectly in the photos. Expect to be cutting out rust and welding in new metal for patches. I DO have a rust free hood that will be included if it will fit in the car (assuming you ship it and don't pick it up, I will not be liable for shipping costs on the hood if it does not fit or you cant arrange to pick it up) The floor pans also need some rust repair, specifically a soft spot on the passenger rear where there is quite a large rust through. Expect more work to be done to the torque boxes and some other minor floor repair. The inner wheel wells also have some rust behind the rear wheels where dirt/water usually collects. The doors look OK with some crust you can see in the photos but they so shut nice and don't have to be slammed. The rocker panels appear to be salvageable. The door windows roll up and down nice, but the rears are not hooked up to the cranks. Front windshield has a scratch from wiper. The interior is complete and in pretty decent shape. The carpeting needs to be replaced. The center console needs to be refurbished. The radio does not work but it appears as the other gauges do. Speedo is dead on and does not jump around. Odometer also works. The dash, upholstery, and door panels are all in good shape. The convertible top is a MANUAL top that is easy to operate. Driver latch is REALLY hard to latch and could probably use adjusting. The engine, as you can see is all original in appearance and totally complete including the original air cleaner assembly. The car starts right up, runs pretty well and sometimes will stall. It really hasn't been used enough and has been sitting. It always fires right back up and goes. It has pretty decent power and has a little hesitation every now and then. I smell a touch of oil burning but nothing alarming or no smoke coming from anywhere. The transmission has a leak. The power steering works well and the car stops straight and good. As I mention this car is a driver/resto car that can be used immediately and used as it's restored. I recently sold the same car that was restored for almost $30K. The are desirable, valuable and always in demand. Up for auction is a nice driver quality/project 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible "C" Code car 289/AUTO with a BRAND NEW convertible top. This car is being sold at NO RESERVE to the highest bidder. This car recently had quite a bit of money invested mechanically and for the top which has a glass rear window. This is a car that can be driven, enjoyed and restored all at the same time. Its NOT a show car and DOES have rust and its NOT $20K +. Its an affordable convertible that can be purchased right and enjoyed immediately. Here is a list of the new parts: new top, starter, door handles, front and rear bumpers, brake hoses front and rear, front wheel bearings, brand new tires, front and rear wheel cylinders, master cylinder, points, cap, rotor, wires, ignition, vacuum hoses, vacuum advance, oil, filter, fuel lines (steel and rubber), fuel tank, fuel filter, rebuilt carburetor, fuel pump, thermostat, freeze plugs, radiator, hoses, water pump, all drive belts, battery cables, and battery. Thousands have been spent in getting this car to the next level and obviously there is a bunch left to do.

The paint is a very old single stage that shines beautifully. It clearly needs body work and rust repair. I have photographed all of the issues in the body. There are several spots that are checked, chipped and rusted. Please take a good look at the photos and know the defects dont always show up perfectly in the photos. Expect to be cutting out rust and welding in new metal for patches. I DO have a rust free hood that will be included if it will fit in the car (assuming you ship it and don't pick it up, I will not be liable for shipping costs on the hood if it does not fit or you cant arrange to pick it up) The floor pans also need some rust repair, specifically a soft spot on the passenger rear where there is quite a large rust through. Expect more work to be done to the torque boxes and some other minor floor repair. The inner wheel wells also have some rust behind the rear wheels where dirt/water usually collects. The doors look OK with some crust you can see in the photos but they so shut nice and don't have to be slammed. The rocker panels appear to be salvageable. The door windows roll up and down nice, but the rears are not hooked up to the cranks. Front windshield has a scratch from wiper.

The interior is complete and in pretty decent shape. The carpeting needs to be replaced. The center console needs to be refurbished. The radio does not work but it appears as the other gauges do. Speedo is dead on and does not jump around. Odometer also works. The dash, upholstery, and door panels are all in good shape. The convertible top is a MANUAL top that is easy to operate. Driver latch is REALLY hard to latch and could probably use adjusting.

The engine, as you can see is all original in appearance and totally complete including the original air cleaner assembly. The car starts right up, runs pretty well and sometimes will stall. It really hasn't been used enough and has been sitting. It always fires right back up and goes. It has pretty decent power and has a little hesitation every now and then. I smell a touch of oil burning but nothing alarming or no smoke coming from anywhere. The transmission has a leak. The power steering works well and the car stops straight and good.

As I mention this car is a driver/resto car that can be used immediately and used as it's restored. I recently sold the same car that was restored for almost $30K.
