Up for auction is a recently acquired 1983 Mazda RX-7 Limited Edition. You will find it pretty tough to find another 1st gen rx-7 in this condition. Odometer shows 108171. The previous owner had the motor rebuilt roughly 30k miles ago by a local rotary expert. The car has been in the previous owners possession since 1985 and garaged since 1986. Also has a "newer" carb, alternator and starter. Along with most of the steering linkage. This Limited Edition still retains its original OEM 14" BBS wheels with almost new firestone tires. The interior is an 8 out of 10 with perfect seats and an unmolested and crack free dash. Carpets are great. Its missing the stereo trim and knobs but the original stereo and eq are in place. Driver side door pull seems loose but repairable. The only upgrades I see on the car are Racing beat header, cat and muffler along with a racing beat air filter housing. It runs great, drives as it should and has been maintained and repaired by the same mechanic since the previous owner purchased it in 85. The car was repainted about 10yrs ago and I have the receipt for $3500. The paint is beautiful and blemish free. Trailing links are perfect as well. Did I mention no winters and garaged since 86. No rain for that matter. I was gonna keep the car and do some modifications but it is simply too nice of a car to do that to. Also included in the auction is a set of reupholstered front seat that have never been installed since they were done. Title is in hand and ready for a new owner. Car will need inspections but if the winning bidder is from PA they will be included in the sale. Car is for sale locally and I do reserve the right to end the auction early.
