With the race track in-mind, Lotus decided to improve down force by adding a front splitter, fiberglass hardtop, with roof scoop, rear engine cover, and rear spoiler. Supercharging the Toyota 1.8 Liter brought a significant bump in horsepower. Lotus claims 240hp. Upgraded AP Racing brakes from the Exige Cup car, and other enhancements has made the Exige 240 a monster on the street or track. This Exige S240, is a car we know very well. It has had only one careful owner since new, and has been serviced.
