Items will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by our local bank. Buyer has 7 days to pay in full either by bank wire transfer, mailing check, or cash in person. Customer has 30 days from end of sale to pick up or make arrangments with me to have the vehicle stored. All items are sold AS IS with no warranty of any kind unless specified in the ad. We reserve the right to remove any listing due to on site sales. We also require that bidders internationally or with feedback score of zero contact us.Fee and Tax Information: Customer pays sales tax and registration in the state they are from, we do not collect it. The deposit is non refundable, by backing out of the deal, you willingly forfeit the deposit. This 1949 3600 Chevy pick up truck was owned previously by a gentleman in Custer Wisconsin (central Wisconsin) who started a ametuer restoration last year. It comes with a clean wisconsin title ready to go for you to register. His heath was failing and decided to sell us the truck. He had the 216 engine rebuilt and it runs like a dream with no knocks, misses, or smoke. I drove this truck 45-50 mph with no issues for about 3 miles when we did the video. The clutch is good and the truck has brakes that work. The gears shift all four gears and reverse like it should. The old gas tank was rusty so it needs a replacment gas tank .(it is running right now on auxillary tank) He changed the coil from a 6 volt to a twelve volt so it can be run off a 12 volt battery. The glass is all there but there is a crack in the drivers side window and a broken piece of glass in the rear window. (LMC truck sell the pre cut replacment glass very reasonabilly ) The tires hold air and have tread but are older and weathered. The body had some filler used and the fenders are all steel with some dents. The floor pans are good but do have some rust as pictured. The seat springs are good but need re-upholstring. We have a seat cover on it now. The doors open and shut and the windows go up and down as video shows, the doors could use some latch adjustment. (minor fix) the choke cable on the truck is sticky and should be adjusted/replaced. The running boards are very solid and the tailgate opens and shuts like it should. He painted the truck in stage 1 paint. It has a great shine and looks very sharp as pictures and video shows. You can drive this chevy truck the way it is or take it to the next level and do a full restoration. The truck got a lot of looks and thumbs up and had people taking pictures with it when we used it in the memorial day parade here in town. I am setting the reserve well below what this truck is worth to ensure a sale! only bid if you are serious about owning the truck! I do not want to overcall this truck or undercall it as it is a 65 year old truck. Let the pictures, video, and description tell the story.
