For sale is a running 1979 Honda Trail CT90 . This cycle runs great, easy start and all original. I have the previous owner’s Tax collectors receipt for Texas Title application/registration he received when he first registered the cycle. This receipt indicates, I am the third owner of this cycle. This cycle has only 1,275 miles on it. It had 754 miles on it when I acquired it. I and the previous owner, both, stored this cycle inside since 1989. It still has the original 2.75x17 inch off road tires which are cracking and probably should be replaced. The manufacture (Yokohama) and date code on these tires is FEXX 019. I do have a spare set of tires that are manufactured (Chens Shin) and date coded UYXX 614 and UYXX 624. As near as I can tell these have never been on the ground. They came with the cycle. The tread on these is more street tire than off road. With their age questionable, (74, 84, or 94); I’m not sure they are worth putting on the cycle. I have NO RECORD of any maintenance. Although it is not recommended for passengers and it has an indicated 220 pound total weight capacity, I have added a passenger’s seat and foot pegs for my wife. We used the cycle to get around in parks and camp grounds. It is street legal. All the lights, electrical, and mechanical things work on this cycle. It is titled and I presently have antique license plates on it so it does not require state inspection. These plates are not transferable. I am required by law to remove them when I sell the cycle. This cycle comes with an auxiliary fuel tank. It has steering and helmet holder locks to prevent theft. It comes with a 4 speed low and a 4 speed high posi-torque transmission and automatic clutch. The high speed is for highway travel and the low speed is for off road power. This cycle is not without problems. The front fork seals are starting to leak, the front fork boots need replacing as they are cracked and the Muffler has a rusted hole in it near the exhaust end. The hole is where the rear shield attaches to the muffler. I have tried to show all discrepancy’s in the pictures. Look closely at all the pictures. There is no warranty expressed or implied. GAWR Front Wheel is 140# rear is 330#.AMENDMENT: I had the owner’s manual and a 1978 official Honda CT90 Shop Manual in the body of this add. I am having trouble finding them. I have presently removed them from the add. . If and when I find them I will add another amendment to this add reinstating them. Until you see an amendment that they have been found; DO NOT consider them available when bidding.
