This is a 1956 Ford Victoria. The car is a survivor. It was originally sold at Jericho Motors on November 18th 1955. The original options were listed as follows : Unique Two Tone, Dual Exhaust, Fordomatic, White walls, Oil Filter, PA wiper, Fender Shields, Elec clock, 9T. radio, Air Heater, WS washer, Directionals, BU lights, Wheel covers, Undercoat. The original owner Alexander Murphy traded a 1952 Mercury in on this 56. I have the original invoice from Jericho Motors. I also have the original Carlife Guaranty No 805 issued by Jericho Motors. I also have the original Temporary Certificate of Registration issued when the car was sold and I have the first registration issued good for one year and the last one that took the car up through 1977. Cars listed in NY did not have a title only a registration card the last registration card from the previous owner was required to be turned in when the car was titled in South Dakota. The car currently has 29,100 miles showing on the original odometer. The car has been repainted and I would give it a 9 on a scale of 1-10 not perfect but very close. The interior is original OEM factory. The car has the original 292 motor and the 2 speed automatic. The car runs excellent and I have driven it through the Black Hills with no worries or problems. All trim is original and in good shape with some patina showing. I have a set of original white wall tires that are un belted. They are not on the car but go with it. The car has the thunderbird dress up kit that was offered from 55 - 57. This consisted of valve covers, air cleaner and breather cap. The car also has the continental kit with the rear mounted spare tire. Exhaust mounted through rear bumper. The car has a remanufactured 1956 water pump on it. I have the original and it can be rebuilt and re installed. The car has been well maintained and is a lot of fun if you are looking for a well documented car that turns heads and is a good investment you have found it.
