Vehicle Detail

1991 Porsche 944 S2 (not currently registered). Fourth owner, purchased from prior owner in 2003, in Thousand Oaks, California, at about 90,000 miles. Garaged since December 2012, after rolling over an embankment. Unfortunately, when the tow truck pulled the car out, the A-pillars caught on a tree branch, breaking it off of the frame, since the convertible top was down at the time of the accident. This then resulted in a total loss declaration by the insurance company. However, the engine bay was untouched from the accident (airbag not deployed), though body is dented in places and paint is thoroughly scratched. The convertible top has a few minor scratches. The rear, passenger tire leaks air slowly, and there is a small oil leak. Front driver seat has some wear-tears and scuffs on the left, lower bolster, where one's hip would commonly brush against it while entering/exiting. AC does not work, and one of the convertible top's motors does not work and so the top opens and closes only manually (though it's moot now anyway considering there's no windshield or A-pillars currently). The front, driver-side driving light has detached from the bumper, and the front, passenger-side driving light seems to be missing. Additionally, the right fog lamp lens cover has been shattered, and I'm not sure if the window shield wipers work now that the windshield is gone. The CD player does not work (its faceplate may be missing), and the front speakers are old, cracked and mostly blown. Prior to the accident, Porsche was lovingly maintained, always covered and/or garaged, Mobil 1 Synthetic oil changes every 3,000 - 5,000 miles with K&N oil filter, regular Seafoam cleanses, and never raced, whether on-track or off-track. Engine runs great, though clutch may require servicing, and precise post-accident condition of suspension is uncertain. Rechipped with Mike Rossokov chip, updated with K&N air filter, Koni shocks, free-flow catalytic convertor, updated European muffler...otherwise all stock. No rust. Never smoked in, no pets, no kids. The convertible top itself was updated with its more weatherproof upgrade, and tinted rear vinyl window to match the tint on the windows, with no yellowing whatsoever seen so often in older convertibles with vinyl rear windows. Since the accident, once per month, I start up, warm up and drive around the property to maintain fluid circulation and battery. Fuel supply has been refueled as required, mixed with Sta-bil. I was planning a salvage/rebuild/restore at some point, but financial constraints have determined otherwise. An amazingly stunning and rare specimen of the penultimate year of Porsche's famed 944 series...still restorable, but currently not legally drivable on public streets due to lack of a windshield. Car sold as-is, no warranty. $500 deposit due within 24 hours upon winning auction, balance within 7 days. Shipping responsibility of new owner. Auction may be terminated upon sale to local buyer. Please understand this is a damaged car, and while I've done my best to describe what I am consciously aware to be damaged or requiring maintenance on my Porsche, I am uncertain of the exact details and condition of every single component after the accident. VIDEO:: Video of walk-around, startup, detail of engine, audio of exhaust shot just last Thursday is embedded below, and also on Vimeo at ...com/95633446 (eBay won't let me post the link here...message me for the link if this perplexes you). You'll love the sound of the engine; I babied this car for her last 70,000 miles. A bit sad to see her go, but buoyed by the AMG that replaced her. 1991 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet, Damaged/For Salvage
