Up for auction again after non paying bidder. No bidders with less then 10 feedbacks without contacting me or I will cancel your bid.No reserve, highest bidder wins so be prepared to win this bike and be able to pay in the end what ever your highest bid is,no excuses,window-shoppers or time wasters. This auction ends Memorial day Monday evening a bit after 8PM eastern time. Do not overbid just to win this item and then not be prepared to complete payment and accept this bike. This is not a game. I will perform my end of this transaction by delivering this CBR600F4i as described, in central Virginia north of Charlottesville. Sweet running legendary Honda CBR600 F4i sport with the stepped seat. This bike was made for many years for a reason, I was drawn to it for it's great street bike personality and at the time what I thought was the perfect sport touring bike for me, and it has been dead reliable and I've enjoyed many memorable miles on it and had many adventures riding this bike. I'm a mature street rider that commutes, travels and takes weekend trips on my bikes enjoying the scenery and the performance of modern sportbikes but going nowhere near it's limits, I don't wring out my bikes, I don't stunt, I don't race and my first 2 trackdays after so many years of street riding, running as timid novice in the beginner group was on this bike. I bought this bike brand new in 2001 or 2002 when I traded in my second street bike a Suzuki SV-650 and added some cash for it. This bike in true Honda fashion has been dead reliable during my whole ownership never giving me any trouble. I returned the favor with a steady diet of regular maintenance and moderate use through the years. After this bike I started owning multiple bikes at a time in my garage so this bike was always garaged when not traveling and got steady use through the 13 years of ownership. It averages 2666 miles a year but I did do the bulk of the milage earlier in this bikes life and less of it later on as I started owning more bikes, still it always got consistent use and maintenance, this bike never just sat around for years unused. No matter what new bikes I would get this CBR always gave a special and comforting, at home feeling to me riding it so I always enjoyed my time with her to this day. This F4i, i stands for FI which makes this bike a joy to use as it's one of the few perfectly fueled, fuel injection systems on a motorcycle for street riding and varying conditions. From the way it takes care of idle on a cold morning to being seamless and not jerky when riding Hondas PGM-FI was at the time the gold standard for smoothness and still is. This 600 received a steady diet of GN-4 Honda oil and filters. The only modifications and non stock items are the beautiful looking and sounding BlueFlame exhaust from England. This bike always sends chills up my spine when revving out a bit yet is not obnoxiously loud in regular use.The second skin seat covers.Tapeworks graphics.A Zero gravity red touring screen that I can no longer find so the stock one is currently on. In more recent milage it's had a major service which included,Valve clearance checkNew cam chain tensionerForks serviced and fluids replacedNew brake rotors and pads in frontBled and exchanged brake fluidExchanged coolantFRESH Michelin Power Pure 2CT dual compound tires are amazing. Harder wearing center and softer grippy edges. Chain and sprockets have plenty of life left as well. This bike is ready to ride. Everything works and is serviced. Add gas, some of your time to ride and oil changes every 3,000 miles and you should be good to go for many more miles of riding. As a street bike Hondas were over engineered to last and be trouble free with proper care and use. Turn signals, high beams, horn, dash, everything works. Now as you see on the pictures this bike has had some low speed tipovers. Even the plastic on Hondas is so durable that the only damage was these plastic scratches that add character. All of these incidents ,2-3 in it's life, I was able to get right up and ride away after cursing at myself for dropping it. One was making a turn across cobblestones and trolley tracks in the rain making a slow turn and someone cutting me off in city traffic and I leaned too far. Once I dropped it in a parking lot. Once I got confused a little, riding too long at night and didn't scrub off speed when I should have and ran off the road into a construction zone full of sand and gravel and I dropped the bike before coming to a full stop, that woke me up! Anyway this bike has cosmetic damage but engine cases are not even scratched and there is no mechanical or frame damage. It could be spruced up easily with some new grips, seat covers and an ebay bodykit of which there are so many to choose from on here and are affordable. You could change the whole look of the bike easily or just leave it as is and not worry about scratching the bodywork. Some of the styles work well with a white tank or you could get stock looking red and white bodywork. The green stripes and areas on the bike are tapeworks vinyl and peel right off if you want. If I was getting perlica bodywork today I'd do the Rothmans kit for $278 for the full set or if I was still a bachelor I'd do the Playboy bunny bodywork for 400, but do a search for f4i bodywork and there is so much to choose from. I also used to use soft luggage on this bike for touring so there are wear marks from that as well. I have the full set of Oxford luggage if interested which fits this bike perfectly. It includes a touring magnetic tank bag, saddlebags and a tail bag. All of the luggage is silver and has waterproof covers. Hoping this goes to someone that will appreciate and further care for this bike, she's been good to me! $400 paypal deposit due within 24 hours of auction close.Full balance due within 5 business days. Can be stored until ready to pick up for up to 30 days.Bike can be ready to pick up with title signed over after auction close and full payment. If check is used check has to clear my bank before pickup.Shipping buyers responsibility.I may be able to ship if details are arranged before auction close anywhere between VA and NYC area and along this I-95 corridor for a slight charge to cover my expenses. This is a used vehicle in working condition but is being sold as-is. Any questions and inspections are welcome before auction close. This auction may end early if a local deal is worked out but this auction like all of my auctions including vehicles I sold in the past on here have all gone to the very end and the highest bidder wins! I have never exercised my option to end an auction early yet.
