You are bidding on a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am with a 400 cubic inch Pontiac engine. I have owned this vehicle in Florida for the past 12 years and I purchased it on E-bay from an owner in Texas in 2002. While this vehicle is not a showroom car anymore (it was just a few years ago), it is not a parts car either. This car is a running car that you can use immediately. I just had the carburetor rebuilt and a new master cylinder and wheel cylinders installed last week at a cost of $1200. The car has Hurst T-Tops and is a great vehicle to purchase today and totally restore in the future (it does have rust in the common places on a Trans-Am). The car could definitely use some TLC, but it is also not a parts car that many people list. This would be a great investment for someone that would want to drive the vehicle now and restore in the future.
