A 30 day temp tag or metal plate transfer may be done with proof of insurance on purchased vehicle. Non Florida Resident: If you are driving the vehicle away from our lot, you will be required to have proof of insurance on purchased vehicle. You will pay your state's sales tax up to 6%. If your state's sales tax is more than 6%, you will be required to pay the difference in your home state. Most states, but not all, are reciprocating with Florida so you will not have to pay them twice. If you have the vehicle shipped with a registered transporter, we will not charge you any sales tax (however, you will have to pay your state's tax at home).
