This first generation Mustang has been well maintained over the years. Good clean Mustang inside and out. VIN#: 6F07D201284 Assembly Plant: Dearborn, MI Mileage: 34,721 Retail: $14,000 - $16,000 Engine / Trans: This rare and early "D-code" Mustang is equipped with a strong Ford 289 cubic inch V-8 motor, 2v carb, automatic transmission, power steering and drum brakes. Everything is mechanically sound and functions as it should. Car starts on first turn of the key, idles and shifts through gears nice. No smoke or leaks. Dual exhaust has a nice deep rumble. The engine compartment and trunk area are clean and tidy. Exterior: The exterior is in overall good condition. The classic silver paint shines nice and with red interior is quite a sought after color combination for 1965-66 Pony cars. The body is straight with no dents or structural issues. There are some faint scratches on doors (from dog paws - which may be buffed out??) and a couple paint imperfections on rear trunk lid as seen in photos. The emblems/badges, trim, glass and chrome are all in good condition. The Sentry whitewall tires have 90% tread remaining and the original 14” Mustang hubcaps are also very nice. Comes with a set of 4 Mustang wire hubcaps with red center caps as well to change up the look if you wish. Interior: The red interior is beautiful. Bucket seats, rear bench, door panels, headliner and carpet are all extremely clean with good color, no rips and very little wear. Blinkers, head lights, tail lights, trunk lock, door locks, radio, etc., are all in working order. Horn and gas gauge need connection.
