I BET HE FORGOT TO CKECK THE BOX FOR 4 SPEED. IT IS NOT # MATCHING AND IT DOES HAVE 65 327 DOUBLE HUMP HEADS BUT THE ENGINE APPEARS TO BE A 69 350 CASTING #3970010 WITH WHAT LOOKS LIKE B19 AS THE DATE ON BACK BUT THE SUFFIX CODE APPEARS BE - 0A WHICH I CANT FIND THAT ID. 3970010 IS ONLY A 350 OR 302 FROM WHAT I HAVE READ. HAS TO BE 69 350. I KNOW I HAVE A RS/SS NON MATCHING # CAR THAT RUNS AND DRIVES BUT JUST ON MY LOT. ITS NOT STREET LEGAL. IT DIDNT LOOK LIKE IT WOULD RUN BUT AFTER MESSING WITH IT FOR A COUPLE HOURS, IT REALLY RUNS GOOD. NO SMOKE, NO HAMMERING. IT WONT IDEL BUT WITH A CLUTCH, AND THAT FEELS GOOD, YOU CAN DRIVE ON MY LOT AND GET 3 GEARS AND KEEP IT RUNNING. AMAZINGLY, THE BRAKES WORK AFTER 17 YEARS OF SETTING. I JUST RUN IT AN A GAL JUG OF GAS. ONLY ONE TURN SIGNAL WORKS OUT OF EVERYTHING ELSE BUT HIT THE KEY AND SHE RUNS. DOORS WILL CLEAN UP WITH MABE A COUPLE PIN HOLES IN ONE CORNER. THE FENDERS HAVE ONE SPOT IN CORNERS THAT WERE PATCHED BEFORE. THE QUARTER NEED SKINS AND DRIVER SIDE HAS A RUST HOLE IN THE DOOR JAMB. REALLY, THE HOOD COULD BE PATCHED BUT I WOULD BUY A NEW ONE ALONG WITH A DECKLID. HAS CLEAR OHIO TITLE. NO EVIDENCE OF EVER BEING WRECKED. LET ME KNOW IF I MISSED SOMETHING. HAS TO BE 69 350.
I KNOW I HAVE A RS/SS NON MATCHING # CAR THAT RUNS AND DRIVES BUT JUST ON MY LOT. ITS NOT STREET LEGAL. IT DIDNT LOOK LIKE IT WOULD RUN BUT AFTER MESSING WITH IT FOR A COUPLE HOURS, IT REALLY RUNS GOOD. NO SMOKE, NO HAMMERING. IT WONT IDEL BUT WITH A CLUTCH, AND THAT FEELS GOOD, YOU CAN DRIVE ON MY LOT AND GET 3 GEARS AND KEEP IT RUNNING. AMAZINGLY, THE BRAKES WORK AFTER 17 YEARS OF SETTING. THE FENDERS HAVE ONE SPOT IN CORNERS THAT WERE PATCHED BEFORE. THE QUARTER NEED SKINS AND DRIVER SIDE HAS A RUST HOLE IN THE DOOR JAMB. REALLY, THE HOOD COULD BE PATCHED BUT I WOULD BUY A NEW ONE ALONG WITH A DECKLID.
